What is a Box Break?

Box breaks are a newer twist on the traditional method of opening boxes and packs of trading cards.

• The person or group orchestrating the break will open the box while those participating watch live on a stream.
  • This invokes community and camaraderie that the hobby encourages, as those watching share the excitement of different cards being pulled.
• Lastly, once the given number of packs/boxes/cases has been opened, the breaker will organize the cards and go through the process of distributing them to the collectors.
  • This can be done in multiple ways, as there is more than one kind of box break to take part in.
